Hi to all, Today wish to show case a video which I made while attending to a vehicle that came in for with the warning lights ON. Upon inspection it was noticed that the lights related to ABS and ESP ( traction control), steering assist was the ones that are indicating. Vehicle was still movable but not fully safe to drive.
After scanning and doing some testing it seems that the ABS pump has an issue not functioning. Naturally trying resetting, and checking the electrical circuit but it seems there is a physical problem in it. Well so nothing else to but go for replacement. The brake fluid also was flushed and changed.

What is ESP?
ESP stands for Electronic Stability Program and its another name for your "Traction Control". It monitors and adjusts the brake pressure fed to each wheel according to it's need. ESP works in tandem with your ABS system and a fault with one causes a fault with the other. ESP basically alters the brake pressure for each wheel to keep your car as stable as possible when on difficult terrain or in situations where you're braking at speed.
in this case, we have a stored DTC for a pressure transducer (sensor) which monitors the pressure within the ABS pump which is applied to your brakes. the system needs to monitor how much pressure is in the system at any one time so that it can alter the pressures to each wheel correctly and as quickly as possible.
